About the review

What this method does and does not prove

Does a scope review prove data is available?

No. Availability is confirmed only after the selected source and its fields are checked.

Which source details are recorded?

The record includes the publisher, source URL, access date and relevant metadata.

How are requested fields handled?

A requested field is treated as available only when the selected source or data dictionary confirms it.

How are dates handled?

The record separates the requested period, source access date and stated update date.

How are corrections handled?

A later correction should identify what changed, which source was checked and which prior conclusion is affected.
